The GiaLoon strategy is a tank-damage strategy that is most effective inTown Hall 4. If used in higher Town Hall levels, you risk a loss due toWizard TowersandAir Sweepers.
The army composition requires at least oneBarracksto be at Level 6 or higher. This army should consist of 6-8 Balloons,6-7Giantsand 2 Wall Breakersdepending on yourArmy Camps'levels. If there is one extra space, feel free to take an extraBarbarianorArcherif you want, although this is not necessary.
First off, you need to find an optimal base to attack. Preferably, the defendingAir DefenseandArcher Tower(s)should be levels 1 and 2-3 respectively. The levels of defendingCannonsandMortarsdon't matter as much, although feel free to find a lower level defense.
Locate the side you will attack from. Usually, you will want to attack the side the defendingAir Defenseis stationed, but if it is centered, it will be much harder to attack. Another threat is theClan Castle, the best bases for attack are ones that have a ruined castle or have no clan. If there is a threateningClan Castle, use that extraArcher/Barbarianand check if the music plays and troops come out. Hopefully, there are none and you can start your attack.
Skip the first step if walls are not present protecting theAir Defense.
Deploy aGiantto shield, followed by 2Wall Breakersto funnel your troops in.Next, deploy allGiantsin two groups to avoid splash damage from the defendingMortarand destroy the defenses. After theAir Defenseis destroyed, deploy allBalloonsin 1-2 groups depending on how manyArcher Towersthere are. Angle them so they attack theArcher Towersand take them down. At this point, the army should have destroyed mostdefensesand can now loot the base. You shouldn't worry abouttrapsas at this point, theAir BombandSeeking Air Mineshould not be unlocked.
Hopefully, you should have 3-starred the base. If not, that's sad. You can now enjoy the Goldand Elixir you looted, and hopefully a fewTrophies as well.
