Cookie Dough
- Butter:You can use salted or unsalted. Take it out of the fridge for an hour prior to using it so it softens.

How to Make the Valentine’s Day Frosted Sugar Cookies

Cookie Recipe
- Preheat the oven and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mats and set aside.
- Pull out either a bowl of a stand mixer or a large bowl and a hand mixer. Cream together the room temperature butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar using a paddle attachment until light in color and fluffy. Add in the egg white and the vanilla and mix again for 30 seconds or until fully incorporated.
- Add in the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, and mix just until the flour disappears. Using a small cookie scooper, scoop out equally sized sugar cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cookies, then pull them out and let them rest on the cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring the baked cookies to a cooling rack.
Frosting Recipe
- In a medium bowl, cream the butter in a bowl until it is light and fluffy.
- Add in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream and beat until fluffy. Add in pink food coloring and whip again.

Instructions
