This Sunday is Father’s Day. Here’s some help if you haven’t bought a gift yet. A new poll of 1,000 dads asked them what they actually want for Father’s Day this year. And the most-requested item requires zero thought or consideration. GIFT CARDS top the list. The most requested ones are for Amazon, Lowe’s, and Home Depot. 56% of dads ranked it as one of the top things they’d like to get. Here are the Top 10 . . .
1. A gift card. 2. Something food or drink related. 3. Clothing or shoes. 4. Electronics. 5. Tickets to a concert or sporting event. 6. Sporting goods. 7. Books or music. 8. Something for around the house. 9. Self-care stuff, like a massage. 10. Jewelry. Get him that nice brooch he’s had his eye on.
Beauty and personal care products also made the list. And 8% of dads said they’d like to get flowers.
The one thing you might NOT want to do for him is post some sort of tribute on social media. Only 10% of dads said that’s “very important” to them. Half said “not important at all.”
Well according to a survey, most dads want to spend Father's Day outdoors . . . not inside opening presents. 75% of dads say their ideal Father's Day is spent outdoors . . . doing stuff like hiking, camping, barbecuing, and fishing. And they prefer making food on a grill over going to a restaurant.
If he likes to cook, that could mean something practical (like a new grill) or unique (like a DIY hot sauce kit). If he works long hours and could benefit from relaxation, you might get him a game-changing massager or some comfy joggers so he can enjoy his downtime.
The father should want a strong relationship with a son, consisting of quality time over a lifetime, and he should want his son to look to him for guidance throughout his lifetime while making his own choice.

Boys also crave warmth, affection, and tenderness from their fathers.
