The ultimate goal of money is not simply to have a bunch of it! In fact, the answer to your problems usually isn't more money.
I've heard it said, "If money can solve your problem, you don't have a problem, you have an expense!"
The ultimate goal of money is to support your happiness!
Money provides you freedom and options.
The problem is that most people haven't defined what a happy, fulfilled life looks like for them. Do you have a vision of your Preferred Financial Future?
Ask yourself these questions. If I was currently living my dream life...
How would I be spending my time?
Who would be with me?
Where would I be living? Where would I be vacationing?
What material things would support my happiness?
What charities would I love to bless?
If you don't define your dream life, how will you know what steps to take to make it happen?
Once you've defined your vision for the future, calculate exactly how much money is needed to support your happiness! This is a step that a lot of people miss. It might actually be less than money than you thought!
Don't chase money, thinking it will make you happy. (It won't!) Chase your vision of happiness and manage your money so that it's supporting you and your dreams.
What dreams are you chasing these days? As for me, it's a home with some acreage and a swimming pool!

All true for most of your (and my) target market, but for most Americans living on less than $60,000 for a household it’s not nearly so simple.

I was happy when I was dead broke. However, I do believe money does buy happiness. But the pursuit and achievement of making money won't make you happy. Cheers, Christine Luken.
