How to make tomato puff pastry basil tart
Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Slice the tomatoes into 1/4 inch (6 mm) slices and place them on paper towels to drain for about 15-20 minutes, covering them with more paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese.
On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry dough into a rectangle measuring 12×14 inches (30X35cm). Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Prick the pastry all over with a fork, leaving about 1 inch as a border around the edges.
Spread the cheese mixture thinly over the puff pastry. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese evenly on top.Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cheese.
Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden, the cheese is melted, and the tomatoes are cooked.Sprinkle fresh basil on top and serve warm.

- 4 tbsp (60g) cream cheese
- 1 garlic clove , minced
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp fresh basil , chopped
- 1/4 cup (25g) Parmesan cheese , grated
- 1 cup (100g) Mozzarella cheese , grated
- 4 medium tomatoes , sliced in about 1/4 inch slices
- Freshly ground black pepper

Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden, cheesemelted and tomatoes cooked.
Sprinkle fresh basil on top and serve warm.
