Ever since its release, Genshin Impact has managed to not only make an unforgettable mark on the gacha game landscape, but in gaming as a whole. Hoyoverse manages to perfectly combine the grindy aspects of gacha games with the excitement of open-world exploration, to create an unforgettable experience that appeals to both fans and non-fans of gacha systems alike.

Undoubtedly, one of the biggest draws of Genshin Impact has to be the characters that inhabit the vibrant world of Teyvat. Whether it's a four-star everyone is given for free, or a limited five-star that's only available for a few weeks, each character is given a unique, gripping design that garners a loyal fanbase, regardless of how strong they are. Though every character is amazingly designed – as the game revolves around potentially spending money to obtain said characters – some are perceived as cuter than others.
10 Fischl's Over-The-Top Persona Is Incredibly Endearing
Fischl is a four-star Electro bow user, who's been in Genshin Impact since the game's release. While she can be built as a Physical damage dealer, most opt to instead use her as an off-field Electro support, with her raven Oz dishing out most of her damage.
Some fans can find her over-the-top communication irritating, but there are even more who find it endearing. Fischl's incredibly dedicated to her Prinzessin persona, and the few moments where she does break character and become flustered are downright adorable.
9 Venti's Appearance Is One Of Genshin's Most Iconic
The first character to receive a limited run in Genshin Impact was Venti, and he's relatively free-to-play friendly despite being a five-star. This is due to Venti not needing any constellations in order to be powerful, with his best-in-slot weapon being an easily-obtainable four-star.
Venti has an incredibly cute, almost childlike appearance, which makes him come off as innocent despite his cunning, alcohol-loving personality. He's become a hit among cosplayers both in-and-outside of the community, making Venti one of the most recognizable faces in Genshin.
8 Keqing Has A Soft Side That She Keeps Secret
On the surface, Keqing is a diligent hard-worker who knows what her vision for the future is, and will stand up against anyone who threatens it. And while this is an undeniable part of her personality, she's also got a much softer side that she keeps secret.
Outwardly, Keqing expresses disdain towards the Archons, stating that the people of Liyue should be able to handle their problems themselves. She holds admiration deep-down for Zhongli, though, and even has a small collection of merchandise that she attempts to keep hidden from those closest to her.
7 Barbara's The Perfect Example Of A Traditional Support
There aren't many examples of pure supports in Genshin, making Barbara one of the few to provide nothing but healing for her allies. She's good at what she does, but the main reason most people don't use her is simply that there isn't any content currently out that requires players to use a dedicated healer.

Both Barbara's appearance and personality are downright adorable. She's Jean's younger sister, and is much more soft-spoken compared to her more serious older sister. She has dreams of being an idol – singing, dancing, and bringing smiles to people's faces, despite the fact that she also suffers from mild social anxiety.
6 Diona's Clashing Appearance And Personality Are Surprisingly Charming
Diona is one of only three characters in Genshin Impact so far that have genuine animal features, with the other two being Yanfei and Sucrose. She's a powerful Cryo support that can provide both healing and shielding to her allies, as well as a sizable elemental mastery buff to those who unlock her sixth constellation.
She's got an adorable appearance that immediately clashes with her outwardly bratty, standoffish personality. While Diona can come across as rude, she has a softer side that she simply tries to keep hidden.
5 Qiqi's An Adorable Zombie
Out of all of Genshin Impact's colorful characters, Qiqi might have one of the most unique backstories out of the entire cast. She fell as a child and injured her leg after trespassing into the Adepti realm, and ended up on the verge of death before an Adepti saved her.
However, the Adepti's powers were too much for her to handle, so she was sealed away for several hundred years before she could be released. Now, she's an adorable, yet, monotone zombie who assists Baizhu at the Bubu Pharmacy.
4 Sayu Is An Eternally Sleepy Ninja-For-Hire
Sayu is a member of the Shuumatsuban, a secret Inazuman organization run by Ayato, the head of the Yashiro Commission. Despite playing the role of a ninja-for-hire in the story, her combative role is more of a support, who provides elemental reactions and healing for her allies.
Like the other smaller characters in the cast, Sayu has an undeniable cuteness that's emphasized by her design, featuring a giant raccoon tail and matching ears. Additionally, her eternally-sleepy personality is quite charming, especially with the popular streamer and content creator LilyPichu bringing her to life in her English voiceover.
3 Xiangling's Bubbly Positivity And Passion Are Infectious
Cooking plays a surprisingly big role in Genshin Impact, it's the main way for players to create healing or stat-boosting consumables to give them an upper hand during combat or exploration. There are also a few characters in the game who love to cook, with the most prominent by far being Xiangling.

Xiangling is an ever-optimistic chef from Liyue who moves through life with genuine passion. It's hard for her infectiously positive nature not to rub off on players, and to top it all off, her companion Guoba is also adorable and has a hilarious story quest surrounding him.
2 Sucrose Wins Fans' Hearts With Her Curious Yet Introverted Nature
Sucrose is one of the more introverted members of Genshin's cast, and her past reveals that she does desire a close group of friends despite being quite shy. She's an Anemo support who often gets overshadowed by Venti, but she's incredibly strong in her own right, and her constellations are easier for free-to-play or low-spending players to access.
Alchemist and assistant to Albedo, Sucrose is a highly curious character who wants to learn all she can about bio-alchemy, in the hopes of one day creating her own paradise. Her design is also incredibly cute, with her floppy animal ears going well with the rest of her design.
1 Everything Klee Does Is Cute, Even If It's Setting Off Explosions
Although she leaves a trail of fire and destruction in her wake wherever she goes, Klee is undoubtedly the most adorable character in Genshin Impact. She's a unique Pyro main DPS who, although she wields a catalyst, attacks with her homemade bombs instead.
It's hard not to smile at how cute Klee is, even when she's evading and disobeying Jean or blowing up Treasure Hoarders. She still views everything through an innocent and childlike lens, and it's hard not to want to protect her.
