Why are transactions not showing up? ›

Pending transactions may not show up on your account until they are posted (finalized) with the merchant's bank. This usually happens within a couple of days but may sometimes take longer.

Banks typically have 10 days to investigate an unauthorized charge or withdrawal. Make sure you report fraudulent charges within 60 days of receiving the bank statement that listed the charge. If you wait longer, you may be responsible for the charge.

What causes payment failure? Failed payments can occur from both the merchant's end and the customer's end. A customer will often experience payment failure due to a faulty internet connection, entering incorrect payment details, or because there is not enough money in their account to cover the payment..

When a payment fails, it is likely due to filters the bank applies to certain transactions made online, or amount limitations applied to the card. If your payment is being rejected, please reach out to your bank to get additional information.

Types of pending transactions

It's important to note that the duration of pending transactions can vary, and they typically disappear once the final transaction is settled. During the pending period, the funds associated with the transaction may be reserved but are not yet withdrawn from your account.

The transaction history or account history is the detailed portion of any financial statement. The top of a bank statement for a 30-day period reports the account's available balance as well as the total amount of deposits and the total amount of withdrawals for the period. This is essentially a high-level overview.

Delete your activity or data from your Google Account

To delete transaction activity related to a specific payment method, delete the payment method from payments.google.com. You may also have to delete related info from myactivity.google.com. Learn more about how to delete your activity.

In the Bank Feeds window, right-click the transaction and choose Hide Transaction. The hidden transaction disappears from the Bank Feeds window. Note that you can't hide more than one transaction at a time.

How do you check if my transaction is successful or not? ›

After authenticating the payment, the transaction status will be displayed. In case you are unable to see the status, you can access it by following these steps: Go to Transaction history. Click on the Transaction card to access the Transaction Details page, where the failure reason and transaction flow is provided.

Feel free to reattempt the transaction if it has failed to reach the merchant. In most cases, if the transaction has failed with the merchant, the money will be reversed to you automatically within 5-7 days and won't be billed to you.

Make sure you have enough money in your account for the purchase. If you're still having issues, contact your bank to find if there's a problem with your account. Try making the purchase again with a different payment method.

Some common reasons that your credit card might get declined include having the card's credit limit maxed out, accidentally triggering the card's fraud protections and even entering incorrect payment information on a website.

There are various reasons why a recent purchase may not immediately show up in your account. Delays are often caused by your and the seller's banks operating on slightly different time frames, or by minor technical issues which are almost always quickly dealt with.

A charge can be pending on your account for up to five days. There are several factors that affect how long a pending charge will appear on your credit card. These include when you made the transaction and how long it takes the merchant to process it. Card pre-authorizations may also show on your account for longer.

It usually takes 3 to 5 business days for the Pending Transaction to post to your Account. A Posted Transaction is one that you have made with your Credit Card or your Card number and that has posted your Account.

The transaction normally completes in full a day or two later when it will then also be reflected in your 'Account Balance'. Occasionally you won't see a debit card payment as a pending transaction.
