Overview

Tycoon is a badge glove added on October 28, 2022. It is obtained through the Plate Master badge. Visually, the glove has a pearl white color with a diamond metallic texture, similar to Bomb and Killstreak and its handle is black.

Obtainment

It is obtained through the Plate Master badge, which is obtained by standing on the The Plate for 10 minutes (600 seconds) in a server with at least 7 people. The timer will pause if Phase, Ghost, Spectator, Golden, and Phantom’s abilities are used (for their users) but will resume once they end.

You can obtain it in Killstreak Only, but it would be very difficult trying to obtain it with the 75, 100, and 250 kills Killstreak phase, because of their abilities.

Tip: Use defensive gloves like Pusher, Reverse, woah, el gato, Orbit, and Parry, to obtain the glove easier.

Do not use invincibility and invisible gloves like (already written) and Sbeve because It won't award you the badge and the glove.

Also you can use one-shots to kill the players that trying to kill you.

You can use Error to kills players since it bypasses Reverse and el gato.

This badge can be obtained in private servers, although you would need 7 people (including yourself) in the server.

Ability

Tycoon's ability, "Mini Tycoon," spawns a tycoon with an upgrade list. By clicking the green button with a cursor decal on it, the dropper will drop clear cube shaped tiny blocks, which if the user has enough for a certain upgrade, the upgrade will be unlocked.

At the tycoon's rear, a self-destruct button is located, which anyone can touch. If someone does press the button, the tycoon will explode. If the "Autoclicker & Anti SD" upgrade is bought, it will take 100 clicks, and the button will remove a click every second. The upgrade will also make the tycoon play a loud buzzing sound when the red counter is not 0, alerting that someone may be trying to explode your tycoon.

GLOVE TIP: The most optimal spot to place your "Mini Tycoon" is in Cannon Island. After placing it there, it will be far away from the main island. As well as a lever for extra defense just in case someone goes to the Cannon Island using the plate.

Spectator, Diamond, MEGAROCK, CUSTOM, Ghost, and rob are not able to click or destroy the tycoon while using their ability.

Upgrades

Pros and Cons

Pros

• The Tycoon's self-destruct will need 100 clicks to self-destruct at "Autoclicker & Anti SD."
• The Tycoon's range is infinite, meaning that the upgrades will still be in effect, even when the player is far away from their tycoon.
• You can get 230 power plus the same speed as Speedrun with a fully upgraded tycoon.
• You will have almost as much power as God's Hand when you have a fully upgraded tycoon.
• This is one of the 2 gloves that allows players to passively gain power. The other one being CULT.
• You can use your Mini Tycoon as bait to knock players off the edge.
• Other players can click the button for you.
• You can use it as a landmine.
• A Diamond, MEGAROCK, CUSTOM, or Defense can block people from pressing the SD button, thus making it almost impossible to destroy your tycoon without killing you.
• You can still make money during God's Hand’s Timestop.
• Has an auto-clicker which is unlocked at an early stage.
• You do not "lose" money when an upgrade occurs.
• If you use this glove get to autoclicker and get turned into Sbeve by another player you have more speed than Sbeve normally does.

Cons

• Other players can easily self-destruct a Mini Tycoon at the first 4 upgrades, as it only requires one click.
• Players with auto-clickers can destroy a tycoon with "Autoclicker & Anti SD" if the Tycoon user is not paying attention.
• Players are vulnerable to attacks while pressing the button, only until the player gets the "Autoclicker & Anti SD" upgrade.
• Due to the trail, players will always know where you and your tycoon is located at.
• Diamond, MEGAROCK, CUSTOM, Defense, Trap, Obby, and Plank can block the cubes, thus not being able to get money nor power-ups.
  • Except for Trap, Obby, and Plank, they can also block the click button.
• Other users can spin around on your conveyor and obstruct your points gained.
• A sleeping ZZZZZZZ user can position themself on the conveyor belt to block off the red part (where the cubes need to get for them to convert to points).
  • They can be easily removed by slapping them.
• You can be blasted back by your own tycoon if it explodes.
• You can only have one Mini Tycoon out at a time, if you die or if the tycoon disappears, you lose all of the tycoon's progress.
• If very few people help you/guard you from intruders, most people will try to destroy your tycoon.
• If you build a tycoon on the Moai Island, you have no easy way of getting back to the main island (only if your speed upgrades are maxed).
• Jupiter can easily survive a hit from a Tycoon with max upgrades because of its reduced knockback.
• Pusher can push the blocks out of your tycoon.
  • However, this doesn't really make much of a difference.
• If you die with a maxed-out Tycoon, it can be very difficult to make back the amount of money you lost.
  • It takes about 6 and a half minutes to get to max again.
• Ghost can hide, then appear again just to activate self-destruct.
• Requires huge responsibilities when fighting.
• You're often targeted quite a lot with a Tycoon.
• Your clicking finger can get tired after clicking a lot.
  • Using an autoclicker would be one way to get around this.

Special Interactions

• If an Avatar user has bought the Tycoon Support upgrade, a Tycoon user can attach their tycoon to a large pole near the Avatar’s basem*nt hatch. This will give the Avatar user more power at the cost of the Tycoon user not receiving the normal buffs. This only works if the tycoon has 10 points.

• Tycoon is based off Roblox’s popular Tycoon genre games (that then extended to more games).
• The music played at the last upgrade is Candyland by “Tobu.”
• Despite having a Power over 100, it can be used in No One-Shot servers, making this glove a really powerful glove in this gamemode.
• It is possible to fling the currencies that's being produced by the droppers by spinning on the conveyor belt.
• This glove was presumably added in from suggestions discussion in this wiki. Where someone suggested a generator that gives you power, and you would obtain it by standing on the plate for some time. This also means it's one of the only gloves that were added from suggestions.
• The server doesn't have to be at least 7 players at a time. When somebody reaches 600 seconds, they need the server to be at least 7 players at the time it happens.
• The tycoon has different upgrades in The Eternal BOB boss fight to support the players.
  • There is a slap speed boost at 500 points. HP regeneration at 1k, and at 1.5k there is an auto clicker. At 2k you all get a longer Timestop for God's Hand. Also, at 2.5k you get Anti-SD and yet another HP regeneration. Lastly, at 3k you get a damage increase.
• The early days of its release, the badge was much easier as many people were trying to get it at that time, which ultimately means nobody wants to mess up each other to get the badge.
• During the Halloween Event players could hide the self-destruct button in a bush to make destroying the tycoon significantly harder.
• This is the first glove that was based on popular genres of Roblox games, the second of which is Obby.
• You can remove the money in the conveyor belt of the tycoon by moving freely.
• When trying obtain this glove, ZZZZZZZ's ability does not stop the plate counter.
• You can attach your tycoon to an Avatar’s base, which will give the Avatar user power.
