Are you looking for an adorable sweet treat for Valentines Day?

Because these cookies are so adorable and super easy to make they are a great idea for anything Valentine’s Day related.
Cream Cheese Cookies are the most heavenly little bites of sweetness, something magical happens when you add cream cheese to a cookie. The cream cheese gives them that added tang that cream cheese has and it makes them a bit softer.
How to Make Cream Cheese Cookies?
• You will start by cream together butter and cream cheese with electric mixer
• Add sugar, egg, vanilla extract and red food coloring and beat until combined
• Slowly add all-purpose flour and baking powder and mix just until combined
• Once incorporated, refrigerate dough for at least an hour
• Place sprinkles in a bowl big enough to roll the dough balls, set aside
• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
• Dough is sticky so use flour on your hands to roll out 1-2 inch balls
• Roll the balls in sprinkles and place on a baking sheet
• Press the dough balls down with the bottom of a cup, don’t flatten too much or the cookies won’t puff up
• Bake
When it comes to sprinkles I’m a kid at heart. I can’t resist them, I love the colors, the shapes, the crunch… and there aren’t too many desserts that a layer of sprinkles won’t improve. Actual kids love them, too, and love to help make them.
You can roll the cookies in granulated sugar instead of sprinkles if preferred or you can add a candy heart or Hershey kiss on top, too!
How to Store Cream Cheese Cookies?
These cookies will stay fresh for about 3-5 days in a covered container and in a cool place
Can you Freeze Cream Cheese Cookies?
Yes, these cookies freeze well. Just place the cooled cookies in an airtight container or freezer ziplock bag. They will n the freezer for up to a month. Just thaw them for a few hours to room temperature before serving.
These Valentine’s Day cookie recipe couldn’t possibly be easier to make–they require just few ingredients and a minimal amount of time, making them a perfect dessert to make even on the busiest of days.
Make a batch to share or keep them all to yourself – either way, I hope you love them! Enjoy!
