What is the CoinJar appropriateness test? ›

Appropriateness Assessment: CoinJar must assess your understanding of cryptoassets' risks and characteristics. A failure in this assessment will lead to restricted account functionality.

What are CoinJar fees? All GBP, EUR and AUD bank deposits and withdrawals on CoinJar are free.

CoinJar UK Limited is registered by the Financial Conduct Authority as a Cryptoasset Exchange Provider and Custodian Wallet Provider in the United Kingdom under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017, as amended (Firm Reference No. 928767).

You can use your physical CoinJar Card to withdraw cash at any ATM that supports prepaid Mastercard cards. Simply insert your card in the ATM, select Credit, and follow the prompts. You can withdraw a minimum of $20 and a maximum of $1000 per day.

Owners of a physical CoinJar Card are able to withdraw cash from most ATMs that accept prepaid Mastercard cards. Owners of a digital CoinJar Card will be unable to do so as CoinJar Card does not support cardless cash.

Steps to link your bank account on the CoinJar app

Enter your bank account details and a nickname for this account. Select Link bank account. You will then need to make a small deposit of any amount*, from this bank account to your CoinJar, to verify that it is a valid and active bank account.
