What are unique hashtags?
Your unique hashtags are hashtags created just for you! You get one per campaign you sign up for. When you use your unique hashtags on your posts and stories for companies, Make Influence collects data on these posts.
When you use your unique hashtags, companies also have the ability to see the exact story/post you have posted for them on their Make Influence profile. In other words, you can show your partner all the good content you've created for them just by using your unique hashtags.
Note:
Be aware that for each campaign you get a new unique hashtag - so it's not the same hashtag you should use on your content for different companies.
What does the hashtag look like?
An example of a unique hashtag could be: #makeinfluence-emor9JZ.
Note that the hyphen in the hashtag means that it's not a clickable hashtag like you're used to from other hashtags. Therefore, at first glance, it may appear that it's not working when you use it - but it is!
Where do I find my unique hashtags?
You find your unique hashtag in the same place as where you create your unique links - under "promote campaign" → create your unique link, and after that, your unique link and your unique hashtag will now be displayed!

How do I use my unique hashtags correctly?
You have one unique hashtag per campaign. Therefore, it is important that you use the correct hashtag that matches the campaign you are promoting. Once you have created your unique link and found your unique hashtag, you should include it in all your stories and in the text of your posts in your feed.
Tip: On your stories, you can minimize the hashtag or remove it entirely from the story so that it is no longer visible - it still works!
Where can I see the data collected based on my unique hashtag?
You can find the data from today on your dashboard as well as under "Instagram" in your reports.
On your dashboard
You can see the data for the current day under the "Instagram today" field. Here, you can see the number of stories and posts where you have used unique hashtags today. You can also see the total reach and impressions that your posts have achieved.
Be aware that it takes a minimum of 30 minutes from when you post something with your hashtags until you can see the collected data. The data is collected throughout the day.
Instagram report
In the menu on the left-hand side, you can click on "Reports" and then "Instagram". Here you can see the fields:
Make Influence posts: posts where you have used unique hashtags
All posts: all posts you have posted on your Instagram - i.e. both those where you have used unique hashtags and those where you have not used unique hashtags.
Remember that you can filter the time period for which you want to see the data by clicking on the funnel icon in the upper right corner.
What if I don't want to use the hashtag?
This is a requirement. You must always use both your unique link and your unique hashtag when creating advertising collaborations through Make Influence.
Can companies use my content from the Make Influence platform when I use my unique hashtag?
No, companies do not have the ability to download your posts/stories and use them for advertising on their social media or the like. But eventually, the plan is to make it possible for companies to buy content directly from influencers through the platform for their own ads - smart, right?
