How does Quest verify identity? ›

To protect your privacy and the integrity of your health record within MyQuest, Quest Diagnostics uses a technology called knowledge-based authentication (KBA) to verify that a patient is who they say they are. Our KBA solution is provided by LexisNexis®, a global leader in online security.

Personal information is any information about an individual whose identity is apparent or can reasonably be ascertained. If the survey does not collect information about reasonably identifiable individuals, it presents no privacy concerns.

It confirms that a person is who they say they are and that the personal information they have provided isn't fake or stolen (identity fraud).

Residents of certain U.S. states have the right to request that Quest correct the Personal Information it collects, uses, discloses, and sells. This is called the “Right to Correct”.

We may ask for your ID so that we don't let anyone into your account except for you. We may also ask for your ID to help prevent abuse such as scams, phishing and fraud. #2 Biometric Authentication

Biometric authentication leverages unique physical or behavioral characteristics to verify an individual's identity. Unlike traditional methods that rely on knowledge or documents, biometric systems use biological traits to ensure that the person is who they claims to be.

You will be asked to provide a government-issued ID and, in select regions, may be asked to submit a selfie video so we can confirm your identity before being approved for a Meta Verified subscription.
