Glomerular Filtrate:
- The substances which are filtered out from the glomerulus are called glomerular filtrate.
- The glomerular filtrate is also known as nephric filtrate.
Composition of Glomerular filtrate:
- The glomerular filtrate contains urea, water, vitamins, fatty acids, water, glucose, nitrogen, salts, etc.
- The glomerular filtrate enters the nephrons for further filtration termed ultrafiltration.
