By not enforcing total ordering, the X-Chain can achieve higher throughput and scalability.
5. Snowman Consensus Protocol: The X-Chain implements the Snowman consensus protocol, which is a key component of the Avalanche consensus mechanism. Avalanche is known for its high-speed and scalable consensus algorithm, and the Snowman protocol contributes to the platform's overall performance.
