Check that you are logged in with a valid Google account. Update your Google Play Store app by opening and updating it. Double-check that you have a valid payment method set up on your Google account, and that Google has your most recent information.

Your payments profile might be deactivated. To reactivate your profile, submit your payment information. Sign in to Google Pay. If you have a critical alert, enter your payment information and wait for the team to respond.

Check whether the billing address for your payment method (such as a credit card) matches the address recorded in your Google payments center settings.
