Why can’t I sell my tickets through my Ticketmaster account? ›

There are a small number of tickets that can't currently be resold on resale. In this case, you'll see a Resale not available message instead of the Sell button. If you don't have the options to sell your tickets, it may be for one of the following reasons: The Event Organiser or artist hasn't activated resale.

You have to reach out to Ticketmaster and see if transfers will be available later. If the tickets will be available for transfer at a later date you will be able to sell them on Stubhub.

The option may not be available for one of the following reasons: The venue doesn't offer Ticket Transfer yet (we're working on that). The artist or venue turned Ticket Transfer off for that event/section. The event was canceled (ticket buyers get automatic refunds).

Those errors mean that you've been temporarily blocked from buying tickets because you may have refreshed your browser too frequently. Our system thinks you're a bot, an automated program trying to scoop up tickets, and we automatically block bots! In most cases, it's only temporary so try again later.

And if you've bought tickets for friends and family, you can quickly and easily transfer their tickets to them. If you can no longer go, you can simply sell them on Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan ticket exchange, making your money back whilst making another fan's night.

If you don't have the options to sell your tickets, it may be for one of the following reasons: The Events Organiser or artist hasn't activated resale. Your order includes add-ons such as car park and early entry passes. The event is within five working days.

If resale is not available, you'll see a message detailing that the Event Organiser has not enabled resale for your event, and therefore selling your tickets on Ticketmaster is not an option. Additionally, fans can only resell Ticketmaster tickets, via Ticketmaster.

Can I transfer or sell my tickets before they're ready to print? Absolutely — but your tickets need to be eligible. When you select the transfer or sell options, you'll be promoted to follow the process. If you receive a message that the Event Organizer hasn't activated that feature, your tickets are ineligible.
