Connecting WalletConnect to Riverex
Here’s how you can use WalletConnect to connect your wallet to DApps like the Riverex DEX.
Step 1
Ensure you have a wallet that supports WalletConnect. Some popular options include MetaMask and TrustWallet. Riverex also supports its decentralized, multi-currency wallet partner, Hippo Wallet, which integrates WalletConnect.
Step 2
On the Riverex interface, click Connect to Wallet and choose the WalletConnect option.
Step 3
A QR code will be displayed to connect your wallet.
Step 4
Open your wallet and check for the WalletConnect option. It may be in the settings or the form of a QR code scanner. (For this example, we will be connecting Hippo Wallet)
Step 5
Set up a New Connection. Use the QR code scanner in your wallet to scan the QR code displayed in the Riverex DEX interface.
Step 6
Give Riverex permission to connect to your wallet. Tap Connect.
Once the connection is established, you should be able to interact with Riverex using your wallet.
You have now connected Hippo Wallet to Riverex and will be able to use its services.
