WordAds: Does It Pay For Impressions or Page Views?
I’m really bothered by WordAds payment system and they didn’t specifically mention on how a blogger can get paid by such service. They said that it pays for impressions but when asked on how can we have a rough estimate for our earnings they said that we just have to check our dashboard stats… well Dashboard doesn’t have impressions’ stats, but only Page Views’ stats. As far as I know website’s impression is totally different from its page view. Can someone make a clear answer to this because I’m really downright confused.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you’ll find your answers here: http://wordads.co/faq/
Under Earnings & payment, it does say you can get a rough estimate by the number of page views in your stats and that payment is approx $1 per 1000 page views. After a month with the program, you should see some indication in your WordAds dashboard.

Also, are those WordAds under “Advertisem*nts” in your site’s sidebar (links to HostGator, DreamHost, etc.) or affiliate marketing ads? If the latter, please note that the only advertising currently allowed on WordPress.com sites is WordAds. http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
