Conclusion
Leatherworking is a primary crafting profession in World of Warcraft. Leatherworking primarily involves creating mail armor and leather armor, but they can also craft cloaks, armor kits, and bags too. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) increases the level cap of professions from 375 to 450 and with that, there are more recipes that players will need to learn for leveling and end-game.
Professions 1 - 450 Leveling Guides | ||
---|---|---|
Leatherworking provides 2 unique benefits that can only be applied to their own character, these come in the form of Fur Lining and Leg Reinforcements. These are augments applied to the Bracer or Leg armor that are much stronger than any other enchanting recipe that would otherwise be used. In End-game content, there are a number of high-level pieces of armor that Leatherworking provides and can be sold to other players for a decent profit.
Leatherworking is often paired with Skinning as a second primary profession as it provides the bulk of materials that Leatherworking requires.
This guide is intended to help level Leatherworking from level 1 all the way to 450 in the most efficient way possible. However, some recipes used here may not always guarantee a level up of a certain skill ("skill-up"). The use of the "approximately" symbol (~) is often used to convey the average amount of crafts or materials needed.
