2 What to look for in a writing app?
Before you download a writing app, consider what you want to achieve with your writing. Are you crafting short stories or long-form nonfiction? Are you writing for yourself or for an audience? Make sure the app offers the features and functions necessary for your project. Look for user-friendly interfaces, sync and backup capabilities, editing and formatting tools, export and share options, and customization and personalization settings. Ensure the app allows you to spell check, grammar check, count words, adjust font size, and align text. You should also be able to export your files in various formats, such as PDFs or HTML, and share them with others via email or social media.

La mise en forme du texte en fonction des supports est ce qui prend parfois le plus de temps, une application peut alors nous enlever une grande charge mentale. Cela peut même encourager davantage à écrire, car on sait qu'on n'y passera pas des heures

📑📌For long content, it is better to use the same office programs, which can be easily used on the phone, and you can even prepare PDF versions.📱In mobile phones, it is also possible to use Google's voice typing programs at the same time.✍🏿Content editing can also be done on mobile phones in online editing programs.

Google Docs and Microsoft Word are popular writing apps and are good for ideation and content that doesn't contain much visuals. As a technical writer, I like Obsidian for its good integration of code snippets.Notion is another good example but I find it complex.

I like using Otter.ai to capture my random thoughts when they're flowing faster than I can type on my tiny phone keyboard. I can use the transcription provided or listen to it at another time and customize it in a running Google Doc I keep for developing my next great blog post. :-)

4 How to write better on your phone
Writing on your phone can be difficult, especially if you are used to a bigger screen and keyboard. However, there are some tips and tricks to help you write better on your phone. Voice typing is one feature that can save time, energy, and errors. You can use voice typing on most writing apps or a separate app like Speechnotes or Voice Writer. Additionally, you can use shortcuts and gestures to insert common phrases or symbols, undo, redo, or select text. These features can be found and customized in your phone's settings or in the writing app's preferences. External devices like a wireless keyboard, stylus, or headset can also make your writing more comfortable and efficient. You can find and pair these devices in your phone's settings or in the writing app's options.

Not only is voice typing an efficient way of typing longer pieces of text, it's also a great thing to try if you want to make your writing sound more like the way you speak. This *can* help your writing sound more natural instead of stilted.

Remember, phone writing thrives on mini-bursts!Don't force long sessions. Instead, capture fleeting ideas through quick voice memos, bullet point outlines, or even smartphone dictation while walking your dog. Later, edit and craft these nuggets into your masterpiece on a bigger screen when you have more focus. This "micro-writing" approach, leveraging your phone's immediacy, can supercharge your productivity and turn those stolen moments into writing gold.

What do you write the most? This will determine what you can do to write better on your phone. As someone who writes poetry every single day, I find that turning off things like "Auto-correct" and "capitalization" save me a lot of time and energy. If you are writing mostly for work, you can leave this feature on and look into other proof-reading apps. Just be certain that anything you add on your work phone is approved by your organization. There's a whole world of shortcuts, symbols and preferences to play around with!

💡Any writing program that canIt performs basic functions such as creating, editing, and formatting documents, making it a professional writing program. This is also important for writing via mobile.📱👀If a mobile app cannot have these three factors, it is not suitable.🔮I think Telegram contains all these factors for writing.

Le tableau multicritères est un outil de comparaison et d'aide à la décision efficace. Il permet de comptabiliser le score de chaque application en fonction des critères qui sont les plus importants pour nous. L'application avec le score le plus élevé est celle qui nous convient le mieux.

Well, I have spent two damn good years writing on the phone during my initial days. High efficient, most creative, fast and responsive, nothing is better than that. But, it has its drawbacks too. That's a different story. So, if you are looking to write on mobile: WhatsApp personal messages(quick ideas), Google Docs, notes, and nowadays Microsoft Teams (business) are some of the best ways to make it happen.

A friend of mine flies regularly, because his wife's an attorney who works between two offices, one in Vegas. He's written most of a book on the notes app on his phone. No keyboard, just the empty page. I do something similar. I draft on paper (Field Notes notebooks, Travel notebook cover, and this is your written excuse to go stationary shopping) and then write up on Pages if I'm out or word when I'm home. What you write in is only important in one way; it needs to help you write. Pen and paper. Note app. Word. Bespoke app. Find whatever works and don't be afraid to tweak it.
