Background
After her parents died, Barb and her older brother Creed survived together in the wasteland keeping each other alive. Eventually, both of them joined the raiders sometime prior to the group's return to Appalachia, after hearing they could make their own fortune and that the raiders didn't care where they came from.
Despite depending on her brother in the past, she now views him as a coward because he does not want to engage in raiding and she feels he gets her into trouble. She feels he has always been a loser.[1] She is currently dating her brother's best friend, Axel, whom she thinks is just like a puppy dog.[2]

The Way Life Should BeMeg Groberg likes Barb, but is aware how she has a self-preserving attitude and is willing to lie to keep up her reputation.[3] She is described by her brother as being a troublemaker who lies to cover herself up; she once killed Wren's dog because the dog would not stop barking and got away with it because Wren believed her alibi.

Quests
- From Russia With Lev: Barb is the snitch and must be made to tell Lev's location. Depending on the player's actions, the player may threaten her not to deal with Lev again, or choose to kill her. Later, if Barb is alive, the player may tell Meg that Barb was the mole which will result in a small gain of Raider reputation. Meg will spare Barb but keep her in line.
