The title basically says it. I'm from the US and have a US based Apple ID, etc. I currently live in Africa without access to an Apple Store. I'll be traveling to the UK soon and would like to replace my iPhone. The UK/Global model allows a physical sim which is required for some of my travels. Will I face undue complications using a UK/global model iPhone, using a US based Apple ID, and setting the region to US as I currently do with my iPhone 12? I also visit home in the US every few years. I know the Global phones have a few less antennae and no mmWave 5g; I'm not concerned about that. Should I have any other concerns?
