With this rule in mind, early mornings and late nights are not appropriate times of day for debt collectors to call. So will creditors call for a holiday? Since certain holidays are public knowledge, you would usually expect debt collectors to not call at these times.
Having said that, it is necessary to remember that not all localities, states or countries recognize the same holidays. Will collectors call on a holiday? Technically, yeah, yes. But you can ask them to stop.
