Q: How many days to visit Disney World and Universal Studios? We recommend planning for at least six full days if you are trying to see Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando. This would allow you one full day at each of the four Disney theme parks and two full days at Universal Orlando.

The best age for Disney World is a subject of much delight and debate among parents. Typically, ages 3 to 12 are considered the best age to take kids to Disney. Within this range, kids can fully immerse themselves in the magic and still retain vivid memories of their adventure.

Our standard recommendation for a Walt Disney World trip is four full days, one day in each park. But three days is a good amount, too, and we take pretty frequent three-day visits as well.

In fact, the average length of stay at Walt Disney World Resort is six days. According to various experts, a six- to seven-day visit will give you ample time to visit at least three Disney theme parks, as well as Universal Orlando and/or SeaWorld Orlando if you so choose.

If you're looking to plan a Disney World vacation, there's a wide range of prices available to you. For a family of three or four, you'll probably want to assume you're spending at least $3500, with $5000-6000 being a comfortable amount, and $10000 being enough to make anyone's dreams come true.

That's about $1,000 per day. Or, you can spend an eye-watering $6,000 – twice as much – on a 3-day trip that's decked out to the nines. A full week will run you a minimum of $9,000 to $11,500 if everyone in your party is 10 and over.

Couples should expect to spend a minimum of $700 if staying on Disney property for one night and visiting the parks for one day. For three-night stays (and two theme park days), costs inflate to a minimum of $1,800.

There is a ticket for Guests ages 3 to 9 and another for Guests ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 3 don't need a ticket to enter the theme parks, but they are still able to experience many attractions, shows and other forms of entertainment!

No, Disney does not expect you to bring any proof of age for children under 3. The honor system is pretty easy to follow at that age, so you are good just arriving and having a magical time.

To make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation, it's generally recommended to book at least four days, allowing for a full day in each of the four theme parks. To see everything in the parks and optimize your time, be sure to have two full days in the park. That means arriving the night before and departing the following morning of your two park days. Since there are two parks in Disneyland, I recommend a simple split of one park per day.

If you're trying to visit the entirety of Walt Disney World in one day, some advice: Don't. You'd probably pass out from exhaustion before you make it a quarter of the way through. Instead of trying to do everything there is to do, we recommend focusing your time on the four theme parks at Walt Disney World.

6 days at Walt Disney World gives you plenty of time to visit the four main parks and everything else Disney World has to offer, like the water parks, Disney Springs, and the miniature golf courses.
