Customers with Bank of America checking and savings accounts can order foreign currency through Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App. Customers with credit cards only can order currency at a financial center.

When will my order be shipped and when will I receive it? Orders placed before 2 p.m. (delivery address local time) are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2 p.m. or on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are shipped the next business day. With standard shipping, orders generally arrive within 1-3 business days.

Head to your bank or credit union before you leave to avoid paying ATM transaction costs. You may even receive a better exchange rate. Credit unions and banks will exchange your dollars into a foreign currency before and after your trip when you have a checking or savings account with them.
You can order foreign currency cash online, using the mobile app, or in person at a Wells Fargo branch and have currency delivered within 2-7 business days. Online. To order through Wells Fargo Online®, log into online banking and select foreign currency cash under the Accounts tab.
There is a $10 exchange fee for transactions equal to or less than $300 U.S. dollars. That fee will be waived for transactions greater than $300 U.S. dollars. Foreign exchange transactions occur when converting U.S. Dollars into a foreign currency, or vice versa.
Do US post offices exchange currency? No, you can send international money orders at a US Post Office, but you can't exchange currency over the counter.
You may be able to get foreign currency in cash at your local bank branch, or you can order currency online or by phone to be delivered to your home. Depending on your bank, where you live and which country's currency you need, some currencies may be available for same-day exchange.
Resist the urge to buy foreign currency before your trip.
Some tourists feel like they must have euros or British pounds in their pockets when they step off the airplane, but they pay the price in bad stateside exchange rates. Wait until you arrive to withdraw money.
Many big banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo and Bank of America will take rolled coins. For example, Chase Bank accepts coins at every branch nationwide and will exchange them for cash. The bank's policy requires all coins to be wrapped in paper rolls for exchange and does not charge customers for this service.
