EVOLVE HUNTERS QUEST IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS OF APRIL 13, 2016.
If you don't know what this was, it basically halved 12 of the Hunters' mastery (their is an achievement to get those 12 specific Hunters to Elite status). Any mastery bonuses earned from the app will be available to the player.

Game Modes
Hunt
In this game mode, the Hunters have to search for the Monster while the Monster tries to evolve.
The Hunters win if they kill the Monster or the Monster does not destroy the Power Relay in time. As the Hunter, it is good idea to keep watch for birds the Monster may have scared/lured. The Monster will also leave footprints, but he can use this mindset to his advantage so they will not always lead to the Monster.
The Monster wins if he kills all the Hunters or if he reaches stage 3 and destroys the power relay. Use your ability to sneak to hide your footprints and pounce on Hunters. If you're going to try and kill the Hunters, evolve to stage 2 before attempting to.
Nest
In this game mode, the Hunters search for the Monsters' eggs while the Monster tries to stop them.
The Hunters win if they destroy all the eggs and minions hatched from the eggs or kill the Monster. The eggs are simple to destroy, as they don't fight, but the Monster can sacrifice an egg to use as a minions. Try to take down the eggs fast at the beginning, as the Monster will be trying to evolve.
The Monster wins if he kills all the Hunters or the Hunters don't destroy all the eggs in time. As the Monster, you are able to sacrifice an egg for a minion that will fight along with you. Keep in mind that this minion must be killed for the Hunters to win, so if you manage to kill one or two Hunters, bringing a minion out isn't a bad idea.
Rescue
In this game mode, the Hunters must evacuate incapacitated survivors while the Monster must stop them.
The Hunters win if they rescue 5 survivors or kill the Monster. Unless the Monster is constantly confronting you, rescuing the survivors is the best strategy. Once you revive an incapacitated survivor, they will fight along side you, but can still be killed.
The Monster wins if he kills 5 survivors or kills all the Hunters. First and foremost, evolve to stage 2 before confronting the Hunters. Trying to kill off incapacitated survivors early is not a bad strategy as long as you remember that the Hunters will know where you are for a brief moment once you kill a survivor.
Defend
In this game mode, the Hunters must defend a central objective while the Monster tries to destroy it.
The Hunters win if the Monster does not destroy the evacuation ship in time or they kill the Monster. Killing the Monster is probably the easiest way to win, but since the Monster has 2 respawning minions, that is easier said than done.
The Monster wins by destroying the 2 generators and the evacuation ship. Since you get respawning minions, it is best to attack with them. As you start off at stage 3, there is no need to hunt, aside from armor.
Evacuation
This game mode is just 5 matches in a row of the previously mentioned game modes. The catch is that the losing side gets a damage buff next match and the winning team gets the next map altered in their favor.
Arena
This game mode is a fight between Hunters and Monster. The only way to win is for one team to kill the other.
Roles
Monster
- Goliath
- Meteor Goliath
- Kraken
- Elder Kraken
- Wraith
- Behemoth (DLC)
- Gorgon (DLC)
As the Monster, you are alone. Your job is to destroy all the humans on Shear by getting rid of their Hunters and civilians by means of close-quarter combat or through the destruction of their technology. As the Monster, you will have regenerative armor, an arsenal of moves, and a means to get around the map quickly. The Monsters are very adaptable, which is shown in their ability to evolve quickly through use of other life.
Assault
- Markov
- Blitz Markov
- Hyde
- Parnell
- Torvald (DLC)
- Lennox (DLC)
As the Assault, you are backed by 3 other Hunters. Your job is to deal constant damage to the Monster and keep the pressure on him. Your Personal Shield allows you to stay relatively close to the Monster without taking damage or it can be used for a tactical retreat. You will be jumping in and out of fights, so get use to using your weapons efficiently.
Medic
- Val
- Rouge Val
- Lazarus
- Caira
- Slim (DLC)
- E.M.E.T. (DLC)
As the Medic, you are backed by 3 other Hunters. Your job is to heal your teammates from the damage that the Monster and other creatures of Shear will inevitably cause. The Medics' Healing Burst allows for anyone, including you, within a range to get healed in an instant. Most Medics have alternate methods of keeping their team alive and, since this is invaluable, you will most likely want to stay in the backlines, where the Monster can't attack you without putting himself in danger.
Support
- Hank
- Tech Sargent Hank
- Bucket
- Cabot
- Sunny (DLC)
- Kala (DLC)
As the Support, you are backed by 3 other Hunters. Your job is to help your teammates spot the Monster, kill it, and stay alive. The Supports' Cloaking Field will cloak anyone in a radius around you, but if you use your weapons, you will be revealed. Use this to revive people. You should try to use your supporting weapons to help turn the tides of the battle.
Trapper
- Maggie
- Wasteland Maggie
- Griffin
- Abe
- Crow (DLC)
- Jack (DLC)
As the Trapper, you are backed up by 3 other Hunters. Your find the Monster and trap it, preventing it from escaping. You are equipped with a Mobile Arena that will trap the Monster and Hunters in an Arena for a short time. Set traps up in locations that you think the Monster will try to run to or try to keep him restrained during an encounter with him.
