Step 1: Go to iforgot.apple.com on your browser.
Step 2: Enter your Apple ID. Keep in mind that your ID might be an email account or just the string of letters preceding the @ symbol.
Step 3: In the top right corner of the screen, click Next.
Step 4: Select With security questions and verify your birth date.
Step 5: Answer three security questions and then press the Next button.
Step 6: Enter a new password and confirm it.
Note: Your new passwords must be at least 8 characters, have no more than 3 similar characters in a row, and contain a number, both an uppercase and a lowercase letter.

With an email address
To reset your Apple ID password this way, you also must know your Apple ID’s email address.
Step 1: Go to iforgot.apple.com via your iPhone’s Safari browser.
Step 2: Enter your Apple ID. Keep in mind that your ID might be an email account or just the string of letters preceding the @ symbol.
Step 3: In the top right corner of the screen, click Next.
Step 4: Select By email.
Step 5: Check your recovery email for details on how to change your password.

On iPhone
The steps below apply to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models running iOS 10 or later.
Step 1: Open the Settings app
Step 2: Select your name in the top banner.
Step 3: Tap Password & Security > Change Password.
Step 4: Enter the code to unlock your device.
Step 5: The Change Password screen will pop up. Now enter your new password, confirm it and tap Change. You are good to go then.
On Mac
You are able to change your password for Apple ID online or from your Mac if you’re connected to iCloud.
Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Navigate to System Preferences > Apple ID.
Step 2: Tap the Password & Security box on the sidebar.
Step 3: Click Change Password.
Step 4: Enter the admin password and select OK. Confirm your new Apple ID password twice.
Step 5: Tap Change.
You can also recover your Apple account using iTunes.
Step 1: To begin, launch iTunes on your laptop.
Step 2: Navigate to the Account menu.
Step 3: Click the Sign In button.
Step 4: Click Forgot Apple ID or Password? on the pop-up box.
Step 5: Input your Apple ID in the following pop-up window.
Step 6: Another pop-up window will appear, prompting you to enter the password for your PC account.
Step 7: Enter your new password one more for confirmation, and then click Continue.
