What is mero Share? ›

'Mero share' is a software developed by CDS & Clearing Limited (CDSC). Mero Share provides the facility to the beneficiary to view the share transaction information in your account online.

MeroShare website: Log in, navigate to your profile, and choose “Account Renewal.” Pay the fees through Khalti or other digital wallets.

NEPSE has adopted a T+3 (after 3 days of Trading day) settlement system. Settlement will be carried out on the basis of paper versus payment. For the PAPER, T+3 settlements system is adopted. For the PAYMENT, T+2 settlements system is adopted.

Simply enter your Depository Participants, username, and password at https://meroshare.cdsc.com.np. Tap on MeroShare profile and then on Account Renewal. Choose Khalti as your payment partner and the amount of years you'd like to renew your Demat account for. To pay, use the Proceed button.

Does a Demat account expire? ›

A Demat account will never expire. However, if you are not actively trading through the account for 6 months to 1 year, it becomes inactive. Then, you need to connect with the DP to reactivate it.

You can check your Demat account status by logging into your online trading account or your DP's website. It will show details like account balance, list of holdings, transaction history, pledged shares, if any, credit and debit balances, etc. You can also call or email your DP.

The username is an identifier: it tells the computer who you are. In contrast, a password is an authenticator: you use it to prove to the operating system that you are who you claim to be. A single person can have more than one Unix account on the same computer. In this case, each account would have its own username.

Applications Supported by Blocked Amount (ASBA) is a method developed by SEBI to block the funds for Initial Public Offer (IPO), Rights issue, Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) etc., applications. In ASBA, an IPO applicant's bank account doesn't get debited until they receive the allotment of shares.
