MikroTik is a Latvian company which was founded in 1996 to developrouters and wireless ISP systems. MikroTik now provides hardware andsoftware for Internet connectivity in most of the countries around theworld. Our experience in using industry standard PC hardware andcomplete routing systems allowed us in 1997 to create the RouterOSsoftware system that provides extensive stability, controls, andflexibility for all kinds of data interfaces and routing. In 2002 wedecided to make our own hardware, and the RouterBOARD brand was born.Our company is located in Riga, the capital city of Latvia and has morethan 280 employees.
