My transit card has been in my Wallet app for months, and suddenly this week it disappeared. Now I don’t have a physical card to readd it. What can I do to access my card again?

I do not have multiple Apple IDs. I had to get a new phone when my old one was stolen and erased. My transit card (SmartTrip) disappeared when I got my new phone. My credit cards are still there. I updated iOS, I see the option for previous cards but my transit card is not there.

Payment methods are associated with a specific Apple ID. Do you have multiple Apple ID’s? Your iPhone should look like the screen shot i posted below.

Make sure that you did not sign out of Apple ID, doing so will remove cards. Confirm you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for adding the card, re-add as detailed in the previous reply linked support doc:
- open the Wallet app and tap the Add button.
- Tap Previous Cards and choose your Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA card.
- Add your card.

Yes I called apple support and they were unhelpful and, in one case, very rude. Thanks for trying.

If you have the patience and want to peruse this, if Tier 1 support can help resolve the issue, try escalating your case to Tier 2 and see if they have a solution.
Sorry I couldn’t help more.

I think your path forward is to contact Apple Support (1-800-MY-APPLE) and confirm that transit cards are backed up from iPhone. You may need to request your issue be escalated to Tier 2 support. If Apple Support can’t help, then contact SmartTrip support and see if they can assist with restoring your old card.

I have the same problem but there is no option for “previous cards” so I have no idea what this comment is referring to.

Did you backup your old iPhone and restore it to your new iPhone? Did you setup your new iPhone as new?
