According to Expansión, Real Madrid’s renovated stadium will also have its own Mahou factory, where all the beer sold inside the stadium will be produced on a small scale, as well as serving a food section.
This pioneering agreement will make the Bernabéu one of the few stadiums to offer such a service. Although not many more details are known, the general manager of Mahou San Miguel, Alberto Rodríguez-Toquero, told Expansión that this is a “dream come true” and that this microbrewery will be located in a “very visible” area of the stadium, which, according to Expansión, will be near the Palco de Honor of the stadium, in the Padre Damián area.
A few weeks ago, Florentino Pérez himself stated that the new Bernabéu was going to be “the largest leisure and entertainment center in Europe”. A fruitful business that aims to generate around 400 million euros in revenues each year.
