Dedicated to opening access to higher education globally, UoPeople is designed to help qualified high school graduates overcome financial, cultural, geographic, political, and personal constraints keeping them from collegiate studies. The university currently offers two-year associate and four-year bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration, Computer Science, and Health Science as well as an MBA program.

UoPeople is completely tuition-free, however, in order to maintain this unique pedagogical model there is a $100 exam processing fee for final exams.

There is no minimum GPA for becoming a degree-seeking student at UoPeople.

Letters of Recommendation:
UoPeople does not require letters of recommendation for undergraduate study, however, students wishing to pursue a Master's degree at UoPeople must provide one.
Essay:
UoPeople does not require an essay for transfer applicants.

UoPeople does not conduct or require interviews with prospective applicants, transfer or otherwise.

Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
UoPeople will only accept transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities when the grade achieved was a C or above. If a student wishes to transfer AP credits, the AP exam grade received must be a 3 or higher.
Credits (Min/Max):
UoPeople may recognize 50 percent of the credits required for an undergraduate degree program (exceptions may be made in special cases to a maximum of 75 percent) and a maximum of 50 percent for a graduate degree program.
