Wie hoch ist die Rendite bei ETFs?
Da es sich bei ETFs um eine spezielle Form von Aktienfonds handelt, ist ihre Rendite – wie bei einzelnen Aktien auch – nicht festgelegt. Sie schwankt vielmehr von Jahr zu Jahr und das durchaus erheblich. Was Rendite genau ist, lesen Sie hier.
Bei ETFs bildet nämlich ein Computeralgorithmus einen bestimmten Aktienindex wie zum Beispiel den Dax nach. Generell kann man daher sagen: ETFs bescheren Ihnen jedes Jahr ungefähr die Rendite, die auch der Index erzielt, den sie abbilden.

Sie fahren damit meistens besser als mit klassischen Fonds, die ein Manager aktiv mit Aktien oder anderen Wertpapieren bestückt. Denn die höheren Kosten dieser aktiv gemanagten Fonds führen in der Regel dazu, dass die Rendite aktiv verwalteter Fonds oft geringer ist als die von ETFs.

Warum sind geringe Kosten wichtig?
Angenommen Sie investieren 100 Euro in einen aktiv gemanagten Fonds zu laufenden Kosten von 2 Prozent pro Jahr und 100 Euro in einen ETF mit laufenden Kosten von jährlich 0,5 Prozent.
