I did all related quests and now im Liked. Got no negative rep anywhere. But ehm, is there no way to get idolized? Its not essential, just for fun. Im a paladin and all, doing stuff they only dream of and they LIKE me? WTf WORSHIP me mofos.

You have too many fleshy-bits for the BOS to worship you. Agent c 09:59, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
--Aha, that's prob it. So console is only option? Lame, i only use console for tcl when i get stuck >.< Well, nvm then, continue to LIKE me, ungrateful scrubs :p

Yes it is possible to be idolized by the BOS. After completing the first quest involving the air filtration system, and the missing laser pistol, ask either McNamara or Hardin about joining the Brotherhood. Complete the mission they give you (for Hardin it's to kill the Van Graffs, for McNamara it's to tap into the radar at Black Mountain), and you will get "idolized". It may be that you need to complete Veronica's mission as well, and get her to stay with the BOS.
- Not true. Even after completing all these things, you only end up with Liked, at least on the PC. In fact, I didn't seem to gain any reputation at all from completing Eyesight to the Blind. http://imageshack.us/m/15/6929/luckmanngrenadesignatur.png Luckmann 18:34, June 2, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to back this claim up. On a playthrough of helping Mcnamara I am also only liked on pc. Joined brotherhood did all unmarked quests for them and never got to idolized. If it makes a difference I turned the missing pistol in after becoming a member
Must be a PC thing, I always get idolized on xbox. ReapTheChaos 12:12, June 3, 2011 (UTC)
WTF seriously, im playing on Xbox and never get idolised-what order do you do the quests in?---
Maybe some kind of glitch is involved cause, in xbox, in some point I lost all kind of reputation with the BoS, simple the faction do not appear anymore, maybe after Veronica was threatened by some Paladins. Once I completed Still in the Dark the faction appears again "liked". 190.26.153.1 04:19, June 23, 2011 (UTC)---
At a guess I'd say it might be an error with either the pistol or the computer unnamed quest not giving a rep increase.
The first time I played through it I was able to get Idolized but after they patched it the first time I was never able to get it again.
You get Idolized with the Brotherhood of Steel when finishing Lonesome Road choosing the Divide Survivor path. Not sure if this only is enough to get from Neutral to Idolized, but being Liked by doing Still in the Dark first set me to Idolized after finishing Lonesome Road. --Vladimir-Lem 21:43, September 27, 2011 (UTC)
The guy who posted above me is right. Do everything you can for the brotherhood and get liked, and then, if you have the Lonesome Road DLC, stop the missle launch and you will get more brotherhood of steel fame. This should be enough to get you to idolized. (: enjoy!
Posts above are correct. Does anyone know if talking down the 4 BoS members who would attack you and Veronica gives the player fame? I killed them this playthrough...
Back when I was a player to this game on the 360, I got idolized by the brotherhood of steel, I don't know how, I just eventually got the rep, maybe this is how it worked, I kept mcnamara as elder, I found the lost laser pistol and had ED-E sacrifice himself to stop the rockets in lonesome road.
I know this is old, but you can get idolized by having the Lonesome Road DLC. Do all of the Brotherhood quests, and keep the missle from launching at the end of Lonesome Road. That will get you idolized by them. Bldudas (talk) 02:35, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
This is really old.
Try this for pre-LR idolized:
Find one of the missing patrols, grab their holotape, glance it in your misc data, head to Hidden Valley without Veronica, and a decently high charisma and NCR rep.
Talk to the intercom, and the password dialogue should show up.
You will be asked to get rid of the NCR ranger, which is the FIRST possible BoS quest you need for fast idolization. I do not see this in any of the previous claims above me, so im assuming they didnt know about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.191.121.39 (talk • contribs).
