Picture and video files that are stored within Apple Photos are included in your backup by default. You can view the backup status of the Photos package file by navigating to its location within the Carbonite interface.
Solution:
If you manually manage your backup, you can back up your Apple Photos library by selecting the following location for backup within Carbonite:
- Macintosh HD/Users/User_Name/Pictures
After you find the data, you can select it for backup like any other file.
