From the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. The window that opens might look different from the example shown here, but it always includes the macOS name followed by its version number. If you need to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.

- Under Device specifications > System type you'll see if your device is running a 32‐bit or 64‐bit version of Windows.

To find the OS of your Mac computer, go to the the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You'll see the macOS name, such as macOS Mojave, followed by its version number. To find the iOS of your iPhone, go to Settings > General > About. Your version will be listed there.
If you are running macOS 10.11 or newer, you should be able to upgrade to at least macOS 10.15 Catalina. To see if your computer can upgrade beyond that, check Apple's compatibility info and installation instructions.
