Lime and Mint Mojito Smoothie
Ughhh, after all of the holiday sweets and treats it is time for a sugar detox! Okay, now let’s not get crazy. I’m not totally off my sugar high. But I do plan on drinking more smoothies and eating less M&M’s. Baby Steps.
I am joining some other fantastic bloggers for a Happy & Healthy series. I don’t really consider myself the ‘diet type’. I’m more the ‘stop stuffing my face so much’ type. I think I’ll be successful if I keep making flavorful smoothies like this one!
This Mojito Smoothie Recipe is unbelievably refreshing! The lime and mint combination tastes clean and energizing.
Back in my drinking days, Mojitos were one of my favorite cocktails. And now this is one of my favorite smoothie flavors.
Fresh mint is the star. This smoothie will give you nice breathe too. Bonus!
Creamy coconut and tangy lime bring a little tropical flavor to this pool-side drink.

I agree, I need a sugar detox! This smoothie looks so refreshing. Good luck learning to play the guitar. I know how to play a few songs and I’d love to know more, it’s so relaxing to be able to sit down and sing a little song once in a while!

This smoothie sounds amazing, Nicole!
I’m allergic to coconut though, so I’ll be making it with regular milk. Can’t miss out on that minty fresh breath 🙂Reply
Nicole Harris says
I’m sure it will be great with regular milk. Thanks Becca!

Haha, I know, Right!?! Actually the social media thing will not be too hard for me. I’m not a huge fan of most social media. I love Instagram and that’s about it.

This looks so yummy! I don’t drink alcohol, so I always like when recipes like this are non-alcoholic. And I love lime!

Yes, this is perfect for a non-alcoholic option. I don’t drink alcohol either so I have gotten a little creative with alternative flavorful drinks!

I kinda feel bad that I was sipping a slushy mojito smoothie in 75 degrees and I totally forgot that everyone else is sipping hot cocoa in the cold. Ooopsie 🙂

That looks great, do you think lemon would work in place of lime? I have a gazillion of those. My main aim this year is to cut down the online time too! I love blogging but it’s a huge time suck!
Reply
Nicole Harris says
Yeah, lemon will work. It will just be a lemony-minty smoothie. Sounds good to me! I agree, the social media has become a problem. Total Time Suck! I could spend all day on social media and get nowhere.

I’m sorry you are having trouble getting to the recipe you want. Unfortunately I can’t list all recipes on one page because that one page would take 20 minutes to load. Have a great week!

Nicole Harris says
I use the coconut milk from a carton, but the canned variety would work fine too 🙂
