FAQs
Can I substitute another kind of fruit juice?
You sure can! It will give it a slightly different flavor but will still be delicious! You can swap in orange juice, tangerine juice or even cranberry juice.
You may need to adjust the amount of simple syrup or eliminate it all together depending on how sweet the juice is that you use.
Does it matter what kind of sparkling wine I use?
Yes and no. I know it’s tempting to cheap out on the sparkling wine since it’s being mixed with fruit juice, but don’t do that.
Use something you would drink on its own. It makes a difference.
Do I need to use champagne flutes?
The style of glass makes a difference when you are drinking sparkling wine because the bubbles last longer. The more they are exposed to air, the faster they go away.
Don't worry, your glasses don't need to match! We love to mix in different styles of flutes for a fun look.

I have been making mimosas with the following
1 bottle of champagne
2 cups fresh as I can get orange juice
1 ice cube tray of frozen orange juice
3/4 cup of Patrons orange flavored tequila
I small jar of maraschino cherriesI have a large antique pitcher for mixing and small brandy glasses, champagne flutes, and wine glasses. They love it.
Mix the orange juice, put in the ice cubes and half the juice from the cherries and the tequila. Stir until chilled.
Right before serving pour in the champagne and do not stir so to
keep in the bubbles.Put the cherries out for individual garnish.
